The MPH in Disaster Management develops the skills to respond and manage the public health aspects of natural and man-made disasters. This degree prepares students for careers in public health agencies at the local, state and federal levels and in consulting firms and companies as well as preparation to assume leadership roles in disaster management in industry, and business.
The MPH in Occupational and Environmental Health addresses impact of the environment and workplace on human health. Students in this program are physicians, nurses and other health care personnel and environmental health professionals. The MPH provides the academic credential for physicians pursuing certification by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
The MPH in Occupational Health and Safety Management is designed for OSH and Safety and Environmental Health (SHE) professionals with technical backgrounds who seek management skills to advance in careers. This program promotes system thinking and management fundamentals. Students in this technical management program come from global corporations, and large and middle size companies with environmental or occupational divisions, and federal agencies including CDC, EPA and OSHA.
The MSPH in Industrial Hygiene prepares professionals who are able to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and manage workplace exposure to chemical, biological, and physical stressors in the workplace and indoor environment. The program prepares graduates to sit for the CIH certification exam administered by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
